IOZER basic is a versatile automation controller for DIN-rail mounting. It combines digital inputs and outputs, sensors and communication interfaces with local, freely configurable automation logic.
Whether used as a standalone automation controller, gateway, for retrofit projects or for individual energy management tasks, IOZER basic provides an open foundation for a wide range of applications in building automation, technical systems and system integration.
Everything in one compact device
- 8 galvanically isolated digital inputs
- 8 normally open relay outputs
- Ethernet and Wi-Fi
- RS485 with Modbus RTU master or slave
- Modbus TCP client or server
- 1-Wire for supported sensors such as DS18B20 and DS2438
- MQTT with TLS support
- Integrated local web interface
- Programming with Blockly or JavaScript
One data model for different interfaces
IOZER basic brings inputs and outputs, 1-Wire, Modbus, MQTT and internal values together in a common data point model. This allows the automation logic to work with consistent data points – regardless of which interface is used to read or output a value.
Data points can be configured with properties such as name, unit and read or write mapping. Values can be processed locally and stored persistently when required.
Automation directly in your browser
Configuration is performed through the integrated web interface. Automation workflows can be created either visually with Blockly or individually with JavaScript.
The logic is event-driven and can react, for example, to value changes, new measurements, communication events or schedules. Programs are executed directly on IOZER basic.
Practical functions for inputs and outputs
In addition to standard state detection, the digital inputs support functions such as debouncing, button evaluation and persistent pulse counters. This makes it possible to integrate push buttons, electrically suitable contacts or compatible pulse sources.
Additional functions such as automatic switch-off and blinking are available for the relay outputs. Larger loads can be controlled using suitable external relays or contactors.
Local and independent
Configuration, data points and automation programs are stored and executed directly on the device. A permanent internet or cloud connection is not required for ongoing local automation. All local IOZER basic functions are included without an additional feature licence.
Designed with security in mind
Production devices use the production security profile with signed firmware, Secure Boot, flash encryption and protected storage of sensitive configuration data. Firmware updates can be securely provided through IOZER connect.
